Billdo/anyone: When you take magic mushrooms or LSD do you lose your sense of self?
I mean, do you remain conscious and self aware? I remember when I was young I would party a bit too much. Several times I blacked out and I found that pretty scary.
Depends on how much you take and it’s not like a booze blackout but if you take enough things can get intense to where you have to just let yourself go and ride it out… (surrender to Jebus) which I think is probably the same point where the people who freak out on it freak out. Shrooms are generally milder than LSD but can be as intense if you eat enough of them.

A few years of hallucinogenic drug exploration years ago pretty much cured me of any depression I had.
