What the week lacks in length

it makes up for in shit.

My toilet, where the tank meets the bowl, is leaking.

I don’t have the time, energy, and supplies to fix it, at least not until the weekend.

But thanks to YouTube, I know what I need and how to do it. I just really don’t want to deal with this shit.

I have to figure out how to live with it, until I can fix it, without making matters worse.

I’ve got the water turned off, the tank empty and drying.

I did manage to catch this when it was just starting. So there’s that at least.

FYI keep in my mind proper etiquette requires that you check out the window to make sure the coast is clear, before dumping your chamber pot.

That’s the kind of thing that drives me over the edge. I feel your pain.

I have a bucket, and a shower. As the tank is just for holding a
set amount of water, which is released to “flush” the bowl, I will
be employing a manual “bucket o’ water poured in the bowl”
method in the short term.

Course I might get pissed off and fix it sooner out of shear annoyance.

You do have options.

Save the world, one flush at a time.

It’s only until Saturday at the worst. I’m not that bad.
