OK, OK, I’ll admit, I liked some of Hall & Oates stuff, including this one.

Oh and speaking of such, I was surfing youtoob and stumbled across a couple videos apparently from some big music fest and there was a sort of allstar band being led by John Oates, I think was the first time I had seen him do something where he isn’t joined at the hip with Daryl.

Yeah, some of their stuff is good. This song is one of those stuffs, and these are both good covers IMO.

Yeah, this might be their best, as you probably know, Daryl wrote it in lament of a lost love that was a Stewardess.

I was an early fan of Hall and Oates, starting with their Abandoned Luncheonette, then War Babies, Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Bigger Than Both Of Us albums. Even their 80’s pop music was great. So much good stuff. Daryl’s got one of the great voices of the time…

Rumor is they flipped a coin to decide who’s name would go first. Man, just think if it had come up tails… Oates and Hall. That would have went nowhere.

Hall was born in 1946…he’ll be 70 this year!
Oates was born in 1949.
