Hard to believe it has been 44 years.
I know, goodness gracious, time flies.
There was a guy that lived over on the coast, in Depoe Bay I think, a friend of mine over there used to tend bar where this guy would come in and play video poker sometimes all day long sticking wads of cash in (yeah, once in a while winning too) this guy claimed a very similar back ground to what they theorize about DB (Army Airborne, Nam), A lot of Locals thought he was, I don’t think anyone ever asked him directly, and he is mention as a “person of interest” in some of the writings about DB, but I think the FBI ruled him out.
I hope he invested his money wisely and did something useful with his life.
