MY FAITH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME! I didn’t just blindly join the Mormon church! I studied, pondered and prayed a long time, it was a HUGE decision for me! THE MOUNTAIN MEADOWS THING DOES NOT PROVE THE CHURCH ISN’T TRUE!!! If you wanted to learn and understand and know the truth, you would go to Mormon websites and discussion boards, you would talk to MORMON MISSIONARIES and other members of the church instead of believing stupid stuff you hear and read out there that is distorted, taken out of context, etc. OH I AM SO SICK OF THIS. Every time I mention my religion online, thinking it will help someone, YOU GUYS USE IT AGAINST ME AND TRY TO MAKE ME FEEL BAD ABOUT MYSELF!!! YOU ARE ALL SO MEAN!!!

My husband was Mormon and it’s taken a lot of years and therapy to get over some of the things he experienced while in the church, not to mention it ripped his family apart.

IT IS TERRIBLE YOU SAY THAT TO ME, AND CUSS AT ME! I am a nice person, I mentioned my religion thinking it would help people, that you would appreciate me talking about this, and instead i immediately get attacked, you all call it a cult and you cuss, you are just horrible, horrible people!! I cannot BELIEVE how horrible people are on this site! I mentioned my religion to help people understand where I’m coming from, and I thought they would appreciate it and want to learn more, and instead they TEAR IT APART and try to make me feel bad about myself. I am a convert to the Mormon church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been a member for 35 years. My faith is very important to me. I studied, pondered and prayed a long time about this, it was a huge decision for me. I am not stupid. I am a college graduate. I didn’t just BLINDLY join this church without doing any research or praying. BUT THESE PEOPLE HERE ARE CUSSING AT ME AND BRINGING UP STUPID THINGS THEY HAVE HEARD ABOUT THE CHURCH, things that are taken out of context, distorted and just plain wrong, they bring up things that they think will make me see the light, they call my religion a “cult” and try to hurt my feelings, this one woman said her husband was a Mormon and she’s putting down the church and saying all this stuff about Mormons thinking they’ll get their own planet, and she mentions baptism for the dead and makes us out to be FREAKS, she doesn’t understand the Church at ALL, because if she did, she wouldn’t be saying these things! I cannot believe that my name is even associated with this site! The people here are just HORRIBLE!
